Uttarakhand News: PRSI Delegation Calls on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Invites Him to National Convention in Dehradun

The Public Relations Society of India delegation, led by Dr. Naresh Bansal, invited Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to the National Public Relations Convention in Dehradun. The event will focus on the role of public relations in Viksit Bharat @ 2047 and will feature over 300 delegates.

A delegation from the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), led by Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Naresh Bansal, met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today for a courtesy call. The delegation formally invited the Chief Minister to the National Public Relations Convention scheduled to be held in Dehradun on December 13, 14, and 15. During the meeting, the team presented the convention brochure and briefed him about the organisation’s activities and objectives.

The delegation informed the Chief Minister that this year’s central theme is "Role of Public Relations in Viksit Bharat @ 2047." More than 300 delegates from various states across the country are expected to participate in the three-day convention. In view of Uttarakhand completing 25 years of its formation, special sessions will highlight the state's development journey, achievements, and future roadmap.

Expressing happiness over Dehradun hosting the national convention, Chief Minister Dhami said that public relations play a vital role in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047 articulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that PR tools can significantly contribute to the branding of Uttarakhand’s tourism, culture, and local products. The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of meaningful discussion on responsible social media use, continuous engagement with citizens, tackling fake news, and understanding the expanding role of AI in media and public relations.
