Prohibitory orders imposed in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar (UP), Jul 15: Prohibitory orders were clamped in the district here to maintain law and order situation in view of the coming Eid festival and Kawad yatra.

Prohibitory orders under section 144 CrPc has been issued prohibiting assembly of more than four people in a public place or carrying fire arms and other weapons with immediate effect, Additional District Magistrate Indermani Tripati said today.

Kawad Yatra will begin from August 1.

The order will remain in force till September 13.
