Even Priyanka failed to save Rahul, Modi's aide mocks Sonia's son

New Delhi, April 22: It seems that even Congress's trump card Priyanka Gandhi failed to save her brother from facing criticism from opposition leaders. In a latest statement directed at Rahul Gandhi, Narendra Modi's close aide Amit Shah slammed Sonia Gandhi's son.

During an election campaign rally on Tuesday, April 22, Shah said, "Sometimes his mother says something, now his sister said something, God forbid, if he becomes PM will he go back to his mummy asking what to do?"

Shah's comment on the Congress Vice President surfaced following Sonia Gandhi's recent remark on Modi. Mrs Gandhi said, "In order to grab the prime minister's chair he has created a crazy situation around the nation."

God forbid, if he becomes PM will he go back to his mummy asking what to do?

"It seems as if he has no belief on our socio-constitutional apparatus. Therefore, it makes us to think whether the country will be safe in the hands of such a person who dreams like this. Congress has always sacrificed for the unity of this country," she added.

Meanwhile, Priyanka, who campaigned for her mother at Rae Bareli on Tuesday, slammed Narendra Modi for levelling "cheap and baseless" allegations against members of the Gandhi family.
