Principal shot dead by student in Haryana

In a shocking incident, principal of Vivekananda School in Haryana's Yamunagar has been shot dead by a class 12th student on Saturday.

The deceased had reportedly scolded the accused over the use of mobile phone in the school premises.

The accused student fired four shots at principal Ritu Chhabra, who was in her office, with a .32 bore gun and critically injured her, Police told PTI.

According to SP Rajesh Kalia the accused has been arrested. An investigation is underway.
