Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Tanzania

After winding up his visit to South Africa Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at Dar es Salaam for the third leg of his visit to four African nations.

As a special gesture Prime Minister of Tanzania Mr. Kassim Majaliwa and Finance Minister Bernard Membe had come to receive him. The boisterous crowd gave a grand welcome to visiting PM.

PM Modi began his official engagements in Tanzania after his ceremonial welcome at the State House in Dar es Salaam.

Cheerful PM Modi and President of Tanzania Dr. John Magufuli played the drum marking a new beginning to the warm and friendly ties between the two nations.

Following the welcome PM had a restricted level talk with the President Dr. John Magufuli.

After the one-on-one talk with the President both the leaders led the delegation level talks where they reviewed the full spectrum of India and Tanzania's relations.
