Price of commercial LPG cylinder slashes: City-wise rates here
The prices of commercial gas cylinders have been cut by nearly Rs 92, on the first fay of fiscal year of 2024.
Petroleum companies generally revise the prices of LPG cylinders on the first day of the financial year. The prices of domestic aLPG cylinders however remain unchanged.

The Centre had last month raised the cost of 14.2 kg gas cylinders by Rs 50. The price of commercial gas cylinders were increased by Rs 350.
The rate of the domestic LPG cylinders was hiked four times in 2022. In January this year, the price of commercial cylinders was increased by Rs 25, thus making the cost Rs 1,786 in Delhi.
When compared to the domestic LPG cylinders, the rates of commercial gas tends to fluctuate more. At the same time last year, a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder was retailing at RS 2,253 in Delhi. In the national capital the price of commercial gas cylinder saw a drop of Rs 225.
Union minister Anurag Thakur had said in March that 9.59 crore beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojana scheme will get a subsidy of Rs 200 on every 14.2 kg LPG gas cylinder annually. All households are eligible for 12 subsidised domestic LPG cylinders, with any additional ones to be bought at the market price, he had said.
For the fifth consecutive month, oil fell, culminating in its second quarterly drop since early 2020. The prices have slid in the backdrop of a gloomy US economic sentiment and a banking crisis that has ratted the broader markets.
