President Names Ashok Gajapathi Raju As New Goa Guv, Ashim Ghosh To Head Haryana; Kavinder Gupta As Ladakh LG
President Droupadi Murmu has made significant appointments for two states and a Union Territory. The Rashtrapati Bhavan announced these changes on July 14. The new Governors have been appointed for Haryana, Goa, and Ladakh.
The President accepted the resignation of Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) from his role as Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh. This change paves the way for new leadership in the Union Territory.

New Leadership in Goa
Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, a seasoned politician and former Union Civil Aviation Minister, is now the Governor of Goa. He takes over from PS Sreedharan Pillai, bringing his extensive experience to the role.
Haryana's New Governor
Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh has been appointed as the Governor of Haryana. Known for his academic prowess and political insight, Ghosh is expected to offer a scholarly approach to governance in the state.
Ladakh's Administrative Change
Kavinder Gupta has taken on the role of Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh. A senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Gupta is recognised for his administrative skills in the region.
These appointments reflect President Murmu's strategic choices in leadership roles across different regions.
