Prayagraj Weather Forecast: Maha Kumbh Mela Pilgrims To Face Strong Winds, Warm And Clear Days Coming

Devotees attending the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj should be prepared for varying weather conditions in the coming days. According to the latest forecast shared by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), strong surface winds are expected on February 13 and 14, while the weather will gradually become warmer with clear skies from February 15 onwards.

On February 13, the minimum temperature will be 10 degrees Celsius, and the maximum will be 29 degrees Celsius. The day will experience strong surface winds, which may cause dust and slight inconvenience to the devotees. Devotees are advised to take necessary precautions, such as wearing protective clothing and securing loose belongings.

Prayagraj Weather For The Next Five Days

The weather on February 14 will be similar, with the temperature ranging between 10 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius. Strong surface winds will continue, particularly during the daytime. Visitors should be cautious while moving through open areas, as the winds may be strong at times.

From February 15, the weather conditions are expected to improve. The minimum temperature will rise to 11 degrees Celsius, while the maximum will reach 29 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain clear throughout the day, making it favourable for devotees taking part in rituals and holy dips at the Sangam.

On February 16, the temperature will increase slightly, with a minimum of 12 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain clear, ensuring a comfortable experience for visitors attending the religious events.

The weather on February 17 will be similar, with temperatures ranging between 12 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees Celsius. The sky will be mainly clear, allowing pilgrims to carry out their activities without any weather-related disruptions.

By February 18, the minimum temperature will rise to 13 degrees Celsius, while the maximum will be 31 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain mainly clear, with slightly warmer temperatures during the daytime. Devotees should take care to stay hydrated and wear light, comfortable clothing.

As lakhs of pilgrims gather for the Maha Kumbh Mela, authorities advise visitors to remain cautious during the windy conditions on February 13 and 14. With the weather gradually improving in the following days, devotees can look forward to a pleasant experience at the holy event.
