Prashant Kishor Vows To Field Only Bihar-Born Candidates In Bypolls
Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraaj, has announced that his party's candidates for the Bihar by-elections will be highly capable local individuals. These candidates, described as "sons of the soil," are expected to truly understand and address the needs of the people in Bihar. Kishor assured that these candidates would be more capable than himself and committed to improving the state.
In a major announcement, retired Lieutenant General Krishna Singh has been named as Jan Suraaj's candidate for the Tarari Assembly constituency in the upcoming by-elections. Singh expressed his dedication to serving the people sincerely, stating that their aim is noble and they maintain a clean image.

"I will serve people from my heart...People told him (Prashant Kishor) to bring me so that Tarari improves. If they have such trust, how can I break it? I will have to come...We don't see rivals, we see just our aim and that we have to win. Our aim is very pious, we have a clean image," Singh said.
Upcoming By-Elections Across India
The Election Commission of India recently announced bypolls for 48 assembly constituencies across fifteen states on November 13. These include nine seats in Uttar Pradesh and the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala. The counting of votes is scheduled for November 23. In Bihar, elections will occur in Tarari, Ramgarh, Belaganj, and Imamganj.
Launch of Jan Suraaj Party
On October 2, Prashant Kishor officially launched his political party, "Jan Suraaj Party," in Patna. During this event, he mentioned that the party had been active for two to three years and had recently received approval from the Election Commission of India. "Jan Suraaj campaign is going on for 2-3 years. People are asking when we will be forming the party. We all must thank God, today the Election Commission has officially accepted Jan Suraaj as Jan Suraaj Party," Prashant Kishor said.
The upcoming by-elections are crucial for Jan Suraaj as they aim to establish a strong presence in Bihar politics with local candidates who resonate with voters' aspirations.
