Prashant Kishor Slams Rahul Gandhi’s Remarks On Reservation
Jan Suraaj Chief Prashant Kishor on Wednesday slammed Rahul Gandhi's recent comments on reservation saying he himself does not know what he will say at any time.
Speaking to media, Prashant Kishor said,"A few months ago, he was speaking in favour of the caste census and that reservation should be increased. Now, he has gone to America and is talking about removing reservations...Until the elections, Rahul Gandhi always said that caste census should be done and if needed, reservation should be increased, now why has he changed his statement, only his fellow Congress leaders will be able to tell better..."

During an interaction with students and faculty at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, said that Congress party will think of scrapping reservations when India becomes a "fair place," which it is not.
"The fact of the matter is they are not getting participation. The problem is 90 per cent of India is not able to play...We will think of scrapping reservations when India is a fair place and India is not a fair place. Now, that creates a problem. There are people from the upper caste who say 'What have we done wrong, why are we being punished'" he said.
His remarks have come under heavy criticism.
Coming down heavily on Rahul Gandhi's remarks, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that it has become a habit for Gandhi to stand with "forces that conspire to divide the country".
"Standing with forces that conspire to divide the country and making anti-national statements have become a habit for Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party. Whether it is supporting the JKNC's anti-national and anti-reservation agenda in J&K or making anti-India statements on foreign platforms, Rahul Gandhi has always threatened the nation's security and hurt sentiments," Shah said in a post on X.
