Pranab bonds with Bhagwat at Nagpur ahead of RSS address

A nation waits with bated breath for former President Pranab Mukherjee's speech at the RSS event at Nagpur today. Mukherjee who arrived in Nagpur was given a warm welcome by the RSS top brass.

He is expected to meet with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat for lunch today. On Wednesday post his arrival, he was escorted to Raj Bhavan in Nagpur, which is the winter capital of Maharashtra.

On Wednesday night, Bhagwat and other senior RSS leaders called upon Mukherjee at Raj Bhavan. They spent discussing various issues for close to an hour. A lunch meeting has been fixed for later today.

The former President will address an RSS event at around 6.30 pm today. He is attending the 'Tritiya Vash Vard' programme of the RSS. He will reach the RSS headquarters at the Resham Bagh area at around 5.30 pm. He would be welcomed by Bhagwat, following which he will hold a meeting with RSS general secretary Bhaiyyaji Joshi.

He would reach the venue of the event by 6.25 pm, following which he will give his address, which is expected to last 20 minutes. The valedictory address would be given by Bhagwat.
