Pran Kumar Sharma was versatile cartoonist: Narendra Modi

"PM described Pran Kumar Sharma as a versatile cartoonist who brought smiles on the faces of people through his rich work," the official Twitter handle of the PMO said.
Pran, who was suffering from colon cancer for the last one year, died on Tuesday. He was 75.
Among the other comic book characters he created were Sabu, Shrimatiji, Pinki and Billoo. Chacha Chaudhary was one of the most popular cartoon characters in the early 90s.
