'I am anti-Modi, anti-Shah', says actor Prakash Raj
Actor Prakash Raj and Vishal, filmmaker SK Sasidharan and Dalit activist Kancha Ilaiah on Thursday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi government over a range of issues including Padmaavat row, Gauri Lankesh killing and movie S Durga.

Prakash Raj said that the state governments which banned Padmaavat citing law and order should quit.
While speaking at India Today Conclave south 2018, Prakash Raj said,''See there is writing on the wall. There is no conspiracy...State governments which banned Padmaavat citing law and order should quit. If they don't, we, the people, should vote them out.''

The actor also attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah, saying they were not Hindus. "How can the question of PM and the head of his party being Hindu be termed wrong when they chose to remain silent over statements made by one of their ministers against a particular community," Prakash Raj said while speaking at India Today Conclave south 2018.
"They call me anti-Hindu but I am anti-Modi, anti-Shah, anti-Hegde (who had made the comment about changing the Constitution). They are not Hindus. People who support killing are not Hindus," Raj said.
However, this isn't the first time that Prakash Raj has openly criticised Modi and the ruling BJP.
