Prakash Javadekar to visit Prayas School in Raipur tomorrow
New Delhi, Aug 7: HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar will tomorrow visit a Prayas School in Chhatisgarh's Raipur district where tribal and other students from Naxal-affected areas study and are given coaching for IIT entrance exam.
"The Prayas schools, there are around six of them, have shown encouraging results in providing quality education to students and has helped them enter institutes like IITs," a senior official said.
The HRD Minister will tomorrow visit one such school in Raipur district and interact with students, the official added.
Earlier today, Javadekar met Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh and senior state education department officials and discussed various issues.
