Poster war: In Delhi, hoarding war intensifies between AAP, BJP
New Delhi, Aug 1: The BJP's Delhi unit on Saturday put up a series of hoardings across the national capital in which it criticised the Arvind Kejriwal-led government for spending Rs.526 crore for its advertisement campaign.
In the hoardings, the Bharatiya Janata Party asked Chief Minister Kejriwal to answer "why have you wasted Rs.526 crore on publicity when this fund could be utilised to put up five lakh cameras for women's security".

"Five lakh people can get pension for one year and one lakh youth can get employment while 1,000 unauthorised colonies can get drinking water with that amount of money".
The development came after the Aam Aadmi Party government had installed hoardings asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to intervene in its functioning.
"Pradhanmantri sir, please! Delhi sarkar ko kam karne dijiye. Delhi sarkar theek kam kar rahi hai. (Prime minister sir, please let the Delhi government work. The Delhi government is working fine)," said the AAP's hoardings.
Later, the AAP removed these hoardings to pay homage to former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who passed away earlier this week.
Reacting to the BJP's hoardings, AAP spokesperson Dilip Pandey told IANS: "Instead of doing serious politics they are indulging in opportunistic politics.
"The AAP is already working on the points raised in their (BJP's) hoardings. For instance we are deploying marshals in buses for women safety," Pandey said.
"BJP should let us do our work, the public knows what we are doing even if they don't," he added.
