Poll Of Polls: BJP Set for Victory In Raj, Tough Fight In MP, Congress Holds Fort In Chhattisgarh, Telangana

Most exit polls released on Thursday forecast an advantage for the Congress in Chhattisgarh and Telangana, while indicating a favorable stance for the BJP in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. These polls also suggested a closely contested race between the Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) and the Mizo National Front (MNF) in Mizoram, with the Congress and BJP trailing.

While the BJP holds power in the 230-seat Madhya Pradesh assembly, the Congress governs Rajasthan (200) and Chhattisgarh (90). In Telangana, the K Chandrashekhar Rao-led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has maintained authority for a decade, while the MNF governs Mizoram.

The elections in these five states spanned from November 7 to November 30, with vote counting scheduled for December 3.

Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh, various exit polls provided differing predictions. Jan Ki Baat anticipated 100-123 seats for the BJP and 102-125 for the Congress, while Republic TV-Matrize predicted 118-130 seats for the BJP and 97-107 for the Congress. Today's Chanakya, however, projected a significant win for the BJP, with a forecast of 151 (plus minus 12 seats) against the Congress' 74 (plus minus 12 seats).

Rajasthan

In Rajasthan, India Today-Axis My India anticipated a close contest with 86-106 seats for the Congress, 80-100 seats for the BJP, and others securing 9-18 seats. Similarly, Jan Ki Baat and TV9 Bharatvarsh Polstrat also offered varying predictions for the BJP and Congress seat counts.

Chhattisgarh

For Chhattisgarh, predictions from ABP News-C Voter and India Today-Axis My India exhibited a close race with varying estimations for BJP and Congress seats. India TV-CNX and Jan Ki Baat provided contrasting forecasts as well.

Telangana

In Telangana, India TV-CNX and Jan Ki Baat presented different predictions for the Congress, BRS, BJP, and AIMIM seat counts, while Republic TV-Matrize and TV9 Bharatvarsh Polstrat offered their own estimations.

Mizoram

For Mizoram, India TV-CNX and ABP News-C Voter provided different forecasts for the MNF, ZPM, Congress, and BJP seat shares, and Jan Ki Baat also contributed its own projections.
