Poll Diary Exit Polls 2024: Mahayuti To Win 122-186 Seats, MVA Set for 69-121 Seats In Maharashtra
The highly anticipated Maharashtra Assembly elections 2024 are heating up as exit polls start to roll in. According to the Poll Diary exit polls, the ruling Mahayuti alliance is set for a potential victory with an estimated 122 to 186 seats out of the total 288. The alliance, led by the BJP and Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), is projected to comfortably retain power in the state, surpassing the crucial 145-seat mark needed to form a government.

On the other hand, the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, comprising the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction), Congress, and NCP, is expected to secure between 69 and 121 seats, indicating a significant gap between the two blocs.
Seat Projections
BJP+: 122 to 186 seats
Congress+: 69 to 121 seats
Others: 12 to 29 seats
The forecast suggests that the Mahayuti alliance will maintain a strong position in the state, benefitting from a consolidated vote base and the leadership of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The BJP's significant share of seats is expected to play a crucial role in their continuing dominance within the coalition.
Meanwhile, the MVA alliance, despite efforts to present a united front, appears to be struggling to make a significant impact, with the projected seat count falling well short of the Mahayuti's. The alliance's struggle is further complicated by internal differences and the challenge of countering the ruling coalition's popularity.
