Army chief calls on President Kovind

Chief of the Army Staff, General Bipin Rawat called on President Ram Nath Kovind, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

Army chief, dignitaries and leaders across political parties called on President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Chief of the Army Staff, General Bipin Rawat called on President Ram Nath Kovind, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. This was courtsey call by the Chief of the Army Staff to the newly elected president.

Telangana CM Shri K. Chandrashekhar Rao, TRS MPs and his fellow ministers, Chief Election Commissioner of India, Shri Achal Kumar Joti and Governor of Manipur, Dr. Najma Heptulla called on the president.

Also, former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh paid a courtesy call on President Kovind.
