Patna, July 27: We all know how much Prime Minister Narendra Modi loves yoga--the ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that has originated in India.

Every morning, no matter how tight his schedule is, Modi makes it a point to practice yoga religiously. It is his constant attempt to promote yoga that led to the United Nations declaring June 21 as the World Yoga Day. Since then, Modi has been taking a lead during the Yoga Day celebrations every year.

However, we still feel Modi is yet to learn a few "asanas" (yoga postures) to be called as a yoga master. And, we strongly feel that his yoga guru should be none other than Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar.

Yes, the Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) chief, who has just forged an alliance with his former adversary the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to form their government in Bihar on Thursday, is a master in "political asanas".

A quick look into Nitish's career will reveal how he has changed people, parties and alliances to remain relevant in the chaotic political atmosphere of the country.

A tweet by the Congress, the latest victim of "backstabbing" by Nitish, explains how Nitish can "bend" almost like a yogi (yoga expert) to forge alliances with parties across the political spectrum.

Nitish has left the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance)-- formed by the JD (U), the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress before the 2015 Bihar Assembly elections--over corruption charges against his former deputy Tejashwi Yadav from the RJD.

"Nitish Kumar has proved his detractors right about his lack of commitment to any ideology. He is a rank political opportunist," stated the Congress' tweet.

The hilarious infographic, explaining how Nitish has jumped from Lalu's lap to the BJP's lap and again back into Lalu's embrace to again leave Lalu for the BJP and Modi, has been published by The Telegraph in an article titled--Nitish back in BJP bed.

So, if you too are being inspired by the "flexibility" of Nitish, then go and join a yoga class to remain fit, at least physically.
