New Delhi, Jul 22: A Kenyan woman who was confined illegally by two African nationals, has been rescued by the police from Rajpur Khurd in south Delhi's Mehrauli area following a complaint from a Kenyan embassy official, police said today.
A complaint was lodged at Mehrauli police station by Frederick Ndegwa, political counselor from Kenya embassy, on the intervening night of July 17-18, about the illegal confinement of the Kenyan woman Gladys wambui mwangi (26), in Rajpur Extension, said a senior police officer.

The location where the woman was reportedly kept was identified by the police as a house in Rajpur Khurd Extension and rescued her in a raid, said the officer. A case under relevant Sections of IPC was registered and an accused woman Alice Njoki, from Kenya, was arrested.
