Police posts the pic of woman's dead body on FB, husband identifies

, April 22: In a shocking incident, a husband identified the dead body of his wife on Facebook. According to a report by Bhaskar, a dead body of a girl was found in Meerut, which was recovered on Thursday night near Gymkhana.

Police says that the girl was allegedly shot at a point blank range and had succumbed to her wounds.

When repeated advertisements to identify the girl failed, the police put up the picture of the girl on Facebook. Interestingly, her husband spotted her and came to the police station to claim the body. He identified her as Neha from Noida.

However, what she was doing so far away from home at that point at night is still unclear. However, what is more bizarre is why was she murdered in the first place.
