Police enter resort in TN where Sasikala's MLAs are lodged

There is huge police presence outside the Golden Bay resort where several MLAs of the AIADMK are lodged. There around 100 riot police is outside the resort as they anticipate trouble. The police are said to have told the MLAs to vacate the resort by 3pm.

Earlier police arrived at the resort following a complaint by MLA Sarvanan. He had alleged that he had been abducted. The Kancheepuram Superintendent of Police was one of the first to reach the resort. As the SP reached the SP, the number of police personnel too increased. The police will collect statements from MLAs and then decide on whether to file a case or not.

Earlier Sasikala Natarajan left the resort for Poes Garden after being told to surrender by the Supreme Court. She paid tributes at the memorial of Jayalalithaa before leaving for Bengaluru where she will surrender before a special court set up at the central jail premises.
