Police carry out night raid in jail in Bangalore

Bangalore, Aug 19: A large number of policemen carried out a raid at the Parapanagrahara jail here late tonight and seized several mobile phones and cash.

The operation by policemen, supervised by several senior officers, was launched late in the night and continued until after midnight, police said. The seized articles included mobile phones, besides "some cash", police said.
