'PM to lay foundation stone for bridge on Ganga next month'
Sahibganj (Jharkhand), Feb 22: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the proposed bridge across the Ganga in Sahibganj next month.
"Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone in March," Das said after inaugurating 'Maghi Purnima Mela (fair)' on the banks of Ganga in the district's Raj Mahal sub-division, an official release said.

Union Transport Highways and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari had said in Ranchi on January 27 that Sahibganj would be made a multi-modal district with a total Rs 534 crore being earmarked for its development, making it a growth engine for Jharkhand.
