PM to address two rallies every month in the election bound Rajasthan
New Delhi, Aug 07: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address two rallies every month in Rajasthan where elections are expected anytime around November 2018. Besides Rajasthan three more states namely Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram too will have their Assembly elections around the same time but Rajasthan is very crucial for the BJP.
All these states are gripping into the election mode with chief ministers settling in their respective chariots. Rajasthan where the party was facing tough challenge from the Congress, the PM will start addressing rallies there soon. However, the PM had already addressed one at Amrood ka Bagh (guava orchard) in Jaipur but he will have some more.
Party president Amit Shah will do rally in every sambhag (region). Rajasthan has altogether seven regions for the administrative convenience. The party president will take a call as how many rally he will address. The BJP president had joined Rajasthan chief minister for her launch of rath yatra.
Sources in the BJP said that Rajasthan elections are a big challenge for the BJP leadership as there are lots of fault line along with the anti-incumbency of both the state government and the Centre. The party has herculean task of managing different cast groups in the state with them showing their resentment quite offen. Farmers too are not happy with the government.
However, the chief minister has been able to send a message across the party workers by getting state president of her choice that she is a real fighter. The Central BJP leadership is planning some more senior RSS workers to bring in to Rajasthan to assist the state BJP.
