PM's brother Somabhai lauds BJP govt's one year performance

Shirdi (Maha), May 16: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi completed one year in office, his elder brother Somabhai Modi today described the BJP government's performance as "very good" and said the sapling of development planted by him would soon bear flowers and fruits.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi's performance in his first year in office is very good and the future will be even better... Modi has only planted a sapling (of development) and when it will become a tree it will bear flowers and fruits," Somabhai told reporters after visiting the famous Saibaba shrine here today.

Somabhai said the attention the PM is getting in China is a testimony to his leadership qualities. "People trusted Narendra Modi and got the BJP government elected..." he said.

Somabhai also interacted with milk producers from Maharashtra who complained about low prices being offered to their produce, and told them that it was up to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to look into the matter.
