PM pays tribute to Rajendra Prasad on birth anniversary

New Delhi, Dec 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, Dec 3 paid tributes to India's first President, Rajendra Prasad on his birth anniversary.

"Tributes to Dr. Rajendra Prasad on his birth anniversary. We remember his exemplary service to our nationa," Modi tweeted.

Born on December 3, 1884, Prasad was elected the first president of the country on January 26, 1950, and he continued serving in the post till May 14, 1962.
