PM Modi pays tribute to Rajiv Gandhi
New Delhi, Aug 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his birth anniversary.

"I pay my tributes to India's former PM Shri Rajiv Gandhi on his birth anniversary," Modi tweeted.
Rajiv Gandhi, the eldest son of Indira Gandhi, was born on August 20, 1944.
He served as Prime Minister of India from 1984 to 1989. He was assassinated by the LTTE on May 21, 1991 at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu during an election campaign.
