PM Modi's wife Jashodaben injured, her relative killed in accident in Rajasthan

According to reports, Yashodaben has suffered head injuries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's wife, Jashodaben Narendrabhai Modi, was injured and her relative was killed in an accident in Rajasthan. The mishap which took place on the Kota-Chittor highway on Wednesday.

According to reports, Yashodaben has suffered minor injuries, but she is fine now. Jashodaben was returning to Chittorgarh after attending a wedding in Kota.

The deceased was identified as Basant Bhai Modi (67), a relative of Jashodaben, who died while undergoing treatment, the police said.

Jashodaben Modi is a retired teacher who lives with her brother in a small town in PM Modi's home state of Gujarat.
