PM Modi's Sister Meets CM Yogi's Sister During Uttarakhand Trip | WATCH

A heartwarming encounter took place during a pilgrimage to Neelkanth Dham in Uttarakhand when Prime Minister Narendra Modi's sister, Vasantiben, met Shashi Devi, the sister of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP leader Yogi Adityanath. A video capturing their warm greetings and an affectionate hug near a temple in Kothari has gone viral on social media.

As per a news18 report, Vasantiben, accompanied by her husband Hansmukh and some relatives, was on a private visit to Rishikesh, where they stayed at Dayanand Ashram.

During their visit to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple and the Bhuvaneshvari temple, they had the opportunity to meet Shashi Devi at her shop named 'Maa Bhuvneshwari Prasad Bhandar,' specialising in pooja items. Shashi Devi's husband runs a small tea shop named 'Jai Shri Guru Gorakshnath ji'.

The meeting between the two sisters exemplifies the essence of simplicity, Indian culture, and tradition, as expressed by BJP leader Ajay Nanda on social media. Both Prime Minister Modi's and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's families generally stay away from the limelight, and the encounter highlighted the strong bond between the two families.

It is worth noting that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hails from Uttarakhand, and his family continues to reside in Pauri district's Panchoor village.
