PM Modi wishes Sonia Gandhi on her birthday
New Delhi, Dec 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted Congress President Sonia Gandhi on her 69th birthday, wishing her a long life and good health.
"On her birthday, greetings to Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi. May Almighty bless her with long life & good health," Modi tweeted.
Modi's greetings came even as the Congress party and the government were locked in a bitter fight with the opposition alleging "political vendetta" after Sonia and her son Rahul were summoned by a court in the National Herald case.
Congress on Tuesday stalled Parliament and took to streets over the issue.
