PM Modi wears special jacket made of recycled plastic bottles in Parliament

New Delhi, Feb 08: Prime Minister Narendra Modi wore a unique blue jacket in Parliament made from recycled plastic bottles on Wednesday.
The prime minister was seen wearing a light blue "sadri" jacket as he sat in the Rajya Sabha in the morning.

Reportedly, the jacket was gifted by Indian Oil Corp during India Energy Week in Bengaluru.

More than 10 crore PET bottles will be recycled to make sustainable garments for India Oil employees and Armed Forces.
Recently the government launched National Green Hydrogen Mission with an outlay of Rs 19,700 crore, which will facilitate transition of economy to low carbon intensity, reduce dependence on fossil fuel imports and make the country adopt technology and market leadership in this sector.
