PM Modi, Trump Likely To Meet On Feb 13: Report
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and U.S. President Donald Trump are set to meet on February 13, sources told India Today TV on Monday. The meeting comes shortly after the Ministry of External Affairs confirmed discussions with the U.S. regarding an early visit for PM Modi.
This would mark Modi's first bilateral visit to the U.S. since Trump assumed office for his second term.

On Friday, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that India and the U.S. are working towards finalizing the visit to strengthen their partnership. However, the exact dates are still under discussion.
Trump was officially sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on January 20. Following his inauguration, PM Modi spoke with him over the phone on January 27, where both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to a "trusted" partnership, focusing on trade, energy, and defense cooperation.
"The two sides are coordinating for an early visit of PM Modi to the U.S. to further enhance the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership between India and the U.S.," Jaiswal said.
Both nations have been considering a visit between February 12-14, according to a report by PTI.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar attended Trump's swearing-in ceremony on behalf of India, delivering a letter from PM Modi to the newly inaugurated U.S. President.
