PM Modi Dedicates Multiple Projects In Telangana; CM KCR Skips The Prime Minister's Event Again
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday dedicated to the nation and laid the foundation stone of multiple developmental projects worth more than Rs 13,500 crore, in important sectors like road, rail, petroleum and natural gas, and higher education in Telangana.
However, Telangana Chief Minister will skip the event while the BRS Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav will receive PM Modi and participate in the official programs, said Minister Srinivas Yadav, according to ANI.

Since February 2022, this is the sixth time in a row that CM KCR has chosen not to attend the Prime Minister's events in the state.
Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of both rail and road connectivity, especially for a land-locked state like Telangana, enabling the transportation of locally manufactured goods to the ports. He noted that several vital economic corridors of the country traverse Telangana, serving as vital links to connect the state with both the East and West Coast. Specifically, the Suryapet-Khammam section of the Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam corridor will facilitate connectivity to the East Coast and aid in lowering logistics costs for industries and businesses. Additionally, the ongoing construction of the railway line between Jaklair and Krishna section holds great significance for the local population, he added.
