PM Modi Stresses On 11 Resolutions For Nation's Future In Constitution Debate
Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented "11 resolutions" for the nation's future during his address in the Lok Sabha on Saturday, as part of the Constitution debate.
He stated, "After being inspired by the inherent spirit of the Constitution, I want to present 11 resolutions in front of the Parliament for the future of the country."

The "first resolution", he explained, is for both citizens and government officials to fulfil their duties. Modi continued, "My second resolution is that every aspect of society should be developed. Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas ho (Everyone's support, everyone's development)."
The "third resolution" focuses on "zero tolerance towards corruption", with Modi declaring, "Corrupt individuals shouldn't be accepted in the society."
He described the "fourth resolution" as fostering pride in the country's "laws, orders, and traditions", while the "fifth resolution" seeks to "free people from a slave mentality and instil pride in the country's heritage."
Addressing political reform, Modi said the "sixth resolution" would aim to "free" the country from dynast politics.
The "seventh resolution" calls for respect for the Constitution, as the Prime Minister stressed, "The constitution shouldn't be used as a weapon for political gains."
He added, "My eighth resolution is that, while remaining dedicated to the inherent spirit of the Constitution, reservations should not be taken away from the people. Additionally, we must prevent any attempts to introduce religion-based reservations."
Modi's "ninth resolution" envisions India as a global leader in "women-led development", while the "tenth resolution" emphasises the "mantra of the development of the country through the development of states."
Finally, the "eleventh resolution" underscores the importance of "Ek Bharat, Shresth Bharat," which Modi said should remain paramount for all.
He concluded, "We should go forward with all these resolutions and also with the mantra of the inherent spirit of the Constitution, 'We the People'."
