PM Modi salutes Japanese resilience

New Delhi, March 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the resilience of the Japanese on Friday, March 11 the fifth anniversary of the massive tsunami-cum-earthquake that killed more than 19,000 people.

"On the fifth anniversary of Great East Japan Earthquake, India offers deep sympathy to those affected," Modi tweeted.

"We admire the resilience of (the) people of Japan."
