PM Modi unveils labour reforms
New Delhi, Oct 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday unveiled Shramev Jayate, key labour reforms, at New Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan. In an attempt to make a way for 'Make In India' the Prime Minister has announced a slew of measures to ease long-awaited labour reforms.

The labour reform will help in disinvestment and land acquisition in labour reforms.

Addressing the guests present at Vigyan Bhawan Prime Minister Modi said, "The power that Satyamev Jayate has, the same power Shramev Jayate has for the development of our nation. Initiatives taken for enhancing ease of compliance, increasing productivity and employability in the country."

Talking about the benefits of the initiatives Modi said it will end the Inspector Raj.

"Inspector Raj is a big problem,I believe e-governance is effective and economical governance,it is also important for transparency. We heard about this Inspector Raj since our childhood & we thought it is for policemen only but then we realised its a lot more," said Modi.

He dedicated Shram Suvidha portal, Labour Inspection scheme and Portability through Universal Account Number for Employees Provident Fund.

He also released a booklet of National Brand Ambassadors for Vocational Training and Souvenir for All India Skill Competitions.
