PM Modi Outlines 100-Day Plan For Bold Decisions After Elections
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hinted that a 100-day plan for his next term has already been prepared, with a focus on making significant decisions for the country. The statement by the PM was made during the interview conducted by Times Now.
It was emphasized that no days would be wasted after June 4 (the vote-counting day of the Lok Sabha polls) in this regard.

PM Modi's 100-Day Plan Ready for Significant Decisions
The Prime Minister highlighted that advanced planning is inherent to his nature, describing it as "God-gifted" and attributing it to his experience working in Gujarat. He cited his track record, including achievements such as the law on Triple Talaq and the abrogation of Article 370, as reported by ANI citing Times Now.
Prime Minister Modi addressed the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), stating that it is not solely his program or that of the BJP, but is part of the Indian constitution and the BJP's manifesto. He mentioned the Supreme Court's advocacy for the UCC and highlighted its existing implementation in Goa and Uttarakhand.
Regarding One Nation One Election, the Prime Minister mentioned that he has requested a report from a high-level committee led by former President Ram Nath Kovind and is studying the recently received report.
In response to questions about preparing for future elections, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that election planning is not his priority. Instead, he emphasized pondering over the future of the country, especially as India approaches its centenary in 2047. He expressed concerns about the country's projected ageing demography and discussed initiatives to plan for the future, particularly in addressing the challenges posed by an ageing population, as reported by Times Now.
The Economic Survey of 2019 highlighted India's demographic changes, projecting a sharp slowdown in population growth in the next two decades. While the country is expected to benefit from a demographic dividend, certain states are anticipated to transition to ageing societies by the 2030s.
It was previously reported that the BJP's new government's first 100-day agenda may include utilizing technology to boost growth, enhancing measures for ease of doing business, prioritizing infrastructure development, and focusing on ease of living and social welfare.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a day-long meeting with his council of ministers on April 2, discussing the roadmap for the first 100 days of the new government towards achieving a "Viksit Bharat" or a developed India by 2047. During the meeting, ministers were urged to ensure that economic momentum continues without interruption, with plans to commence work immediately after taking the oath of office, as per media reports.
