PM Modi On Mann Ki Baat: Pahalgam Attack Reflects Terrorists' Desperation, Vows Justice For Victims' Kin
Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the April 22 terror assault in Pahalgam in his Sunday Mann Ki Baat radio speech, promising the relatives of the slain that justice will be done. He underlined that the incident showed how uneasy terrorists were about the calm that had returned to Jammu and Kashmir and that their ultimate goal was to cause instability in the area.
In his Sunday Mann Ki Baat radio address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam and assured the families of the victims that justice will be served. He emphasized that the act demonstrated the terrorists' uneasiness with the peace that had returned to Jammu and Kashmir and that their ultimate objective was to sow discord in the region.

"I once again assure you that justice will be delivered," Prime Minister Modi said to the relatives of the victims. He expressed his own grief, saying that the incident caused him "deep agony in my heart" and that all Indians had a great deal of sympathy for the families of the victims.
He also urged people to come together and fortify their commitment in the battle against terrorism, acknowledging the overwhelming rage felt by the populace across. "Together, we will face this challenge and emerge stronger," he said.
Modi also emphasized the need of peace returning to Kashmir, where democracy was growing stronger, schools and colleges were blossoming, and tourism was booming. He claimed that the terrorist act was a reflection of the annoyance of those who support terrorism and violence, particularly during a period when the area was developing and giving its citizens new chances.
However, Modi also honored K. Kasturirangan, the late scientist and former head of ISRO, who died on Friday. He recognized Kasturirangan's dedicated service to the nation and commended his enormous contribution to nation-building.
