PM Modis Jamnagar Roadshow: A Wave of Support and Adulation
Prime Minister Narendra Modis roadshow in Jamnagar was a resounding success, with a massive turnout of supporters who cheered and waved saffron flags. The two-kilometer journey was filled with chants of Modi, Modi and Bharat Mata Ki Jai as the PM greeted the enthusiastic crowd from his vehicle.
Jamnagar, February 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a massive roadshow from Jamnagar airport on Saturday night, captivating the hearts of the people of Gujarat. The streets of Jamnagar were illuminated, and the air was filled with chants of "Modi, Modi" and "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" as the Prime Minister's cavalcade made its way towards the Circuit House.

A Warm Welcome and Enthusiastic Crowds
Thousands of people lined up on both sides of the road, waving saffron flags and expressing their unwavering support for the Prime Minister. Modi reciprocated their enthusiasm by greeting them from his vehicle, waving and acknowledging their cheers. At one point, he even stepped out of his vehicle to personally connect with the enthusiastic supporters, including women and children.
Packed Itinerary for Sunday
After a brief halt at the Jamnagar Circuit House for the night, Prime Minister Modi will embark on a busy schedule on Sunday. He is set to attend two significant functions in the Devbhumi Dwarka and Rajkot districts of the Saurashtra region.
Inauguration of AIIMS and Infrastructure Projects
The highlight of the Prime Minister's visit will be the inauguration of Gujarat's first All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajkot on February 25. This state-of-the-art facility will greatly enhance healthcare services in the region. Additionally, he will inaugurate the four-lane cable-stayed bridge between Okha and Beyt Dwarka in Devbhumi Dwarka district, improving connectivity and facilitating travel for the local population.
Virtual Inauguration of AIIMS in Other States
During his visit to Rajkot AIIMS, Prime Minister Modi will also virtually inaugurate four other newly-built AIIMS located in Mangalagiri (Andhra Pradesh), Bathinda (Punjab), Rae Bareli (Uttar Pradesh), and Kalyani (West Bengal). These institutions will significantly boost medical education and healthcare infrastructure across the country.
Launch of Key Projects Worth Crores
In addition to the AIIMS inaugurations, the Prime Minister will launch and perform groundbreaking for various projects worth a staggering Rs 48,000 crore. These projects span different state and central departments, including NHAI, Railways, Energy and Petrochemicals, Road and Building, Ports, and Health and Family Welfare. Notably, projects worth Rs 35,700 crore are earmarked for Gujarat, while the remaining are for other states.
Prayers at Beyt Dwarkadhish Mandir and Bridge Inauguration
On Sunday morning, Prime Minister Modi will offer prayers at the revered Shri Beyt Dwarkadhish Mandir before inaugurating the four-lane cable-stayed bridge between Okha and Beyt Dwarka island. This 2.32 km bridge, featuring a central double span cable-stayed portion and a 2.45 km approach road, was constructed at a cost of Rs 979 crore. It will provide seamless connectivity and allow devotees to visit the temple at any time.
Visit to Dwarka Town and Public Address
The Prime Minister will then proceed to Dwarka town, where he will offer prayers at the renowned Dwarkadhish temple. Subsequently, he will address a large gathering in the vicinity of the temple. From this venue, he will inaugurate or perform groundbreaking for several projects in Jamnagar, Devbhumi Dwarka, and Porbandar districts, further contributing to the development of the region.
