PM Modi hopes new J&K govt will fulfil dreams of people
New Delhi, April 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended best wishes to the Mehbooba Mufti-led government in Jammu and Kashmir and hoped it will fulfil the dreams and aspirations of people of the state.
"Congratulations and best wishes to Ms. Mehbooba Mufti, Dr. Nirmal Singh & all those who took oath today," he said in a tweet.
"May the new Government of J&K leave no stone unturned in fulfilling dreams & aspirations of the people & take J&K to new heights of progress," he said.
The PDP President was sworn-in along with 22 ministers. 56-year-old Mehbooba took the oath of office and secrecy in Urdu followed by BJP's Nirmal Singh, who will again be the Deputy Chief Minister in the new PDP-BJP government formed three months after the state was put under Governor's rule following the demise of her father Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
