PM Modi greets Pakistan on Independence Day
New Delhi, Aug 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted the people of Pakistan on their Independence Day.
"Greetings and good wishes to the people of Pakistan on their Independence Day," the prime minister said in a tweet.
Pakistan celebrates Independence Day on August 14. It is a national holiday here. This day commemorates Pakistan's independence and sovereignty, following the end of the British Raj in 1947. India too would be celebrating its day of independence tomorrow on August 15.
