PM Modi Announces Installation Of 1 Crore Solar Panels Across India
After the grand Ram Mandir Pran 'Pratishtha' ceremony in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a new plan called 'Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana.' The goal is to put solar panels on one crore houses across the country.
Sharing a post in Hindi on the micro-blogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, PM Modi said "All the devotees of the world always get energy from the light of Suryavanshi Lord Shri Ram. Today, on the auspicious occasion of consecration in Ayodhya, my resolution got further strengthened that the people of India should have their own solar rooftop system on the roof of their houses."

"The first decision I have taken after returning from Ayodhya is that our government will launch 'Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana' with the target of installing rooftop solar on 1 crore houses," PM Modi added.
According to the Prime Minister, this step will not just lower the electricity costs for the poor and middle class but also contribute to making India self-sufficient in the energy sector.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed all rituals at Ayodhya's Ram Mandir inauguration and Ram Lalla idol's Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
Prime Minister Modi also addressed the nation on this auspicious occasion. He said "Ram embodies energy, not just fire; Ram signifies a solution, not a dispute. Ram belongs not only to us but to everyone, and Ram is not merely the present but eternal." PM Modi called the Ram Mandir a symbol of peace, patience, harmony, and unity in Indian society.
