PM Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh Among BJP's 40 Star Campaigners For UK LS Polls; Check Full List

The list released by the party includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh among the 40 star campaigners of the BJP for the Lok Sabha polls in Uttarakhand, on Wednesday.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, state BJP president Mahendra Bhatt, and former chief ministers Trivendra Singh Rawat and Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank are also among the party's star campaigners, reported PTI.

40 Star Campaigners For Uttarakhand Polls

Polling for the five Lok Sabha seats in Uttarakhand is scheduled to be held in the first of the seven-phase election on April 19. All the seats in Uttarakhand were won by the BJP in the 2014 and 2019 polls, as reported by ANI.

The list of 40 leaders who will serve as star campaigners for the party in the state include:

A 'recognized' party, as designated by the Election Commission, can nominate up to 40 star campaigners. It's worth noting that the BJP has already announced candidates for all 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh, whereas the Congress has announced only 10 candidates so far.

The Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh will take place over the first four phases out of the total seven, scheduled for April 19, April 26, May 7, and May 13. The filing of nomination papers for the first phase begins on Wednesday, with March 27 being the deadline. In the first phase, six Lok Sabha constituencies, namely Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat, and Chhindwara, will go to polls.
