PM-Kisan 20th Installment Released: ₹20,500 Crore Sent To Farmers — Eligibility and Process, Details Inside

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially released the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, transferring ₹20,500 crore directly to the bank accounts of over 9.7 crore eligible farmers. The announcement was made during his visit to Banauli in Varanasi, where he launched the disbursement.

eKYC Mandatory to Receive Future Installments
To continue receiving payments under the scheme, completing eKYC is compulsory. Farmers can complete it online through OTP authentication or offline via biometric and face-authentication options. Failure to complete eKYC may lead to future payments being withheld.

Beware of Fake Messages

The Ministry of Agriculture recently issued an advisory cautioning farmers against false messages and misleading posts on social media related to PM-Kisan benefits. Farmers are advised to rely only on official platforms for updates.

How to Check PM-Kisan Beneficiary Status

• Follow these steps to verify your payment status:
• Visit the official PM-Kisan portal
• Click on 'Beneficiary Status'
• Enter your Aadhaar number or bank account number
• Click on 'Get Data'
• Your payment details will be displayed on the screen
• Three eKYC Methods for Farmers

Farmers can choose any one of the following ways to complete their eKYC:

1. OTP-Based eKYC (Online Method)
Visit pmkisan.gov.in

Click on 'eKYC'

Enter your Aadhaar number

Submit the OTP received on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number

2. Biometric eKYC (Offline Method)
Visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or State Seva Kendra (SSK)

Carry your Aadhaar card and the linked mobile number

The operator will assist with biometric verification

3. Face Authentication via Mobile App
Download the PM-Kisan mobile app and Aadhaar Face RD app from Google Play Store

Log in using your registered mobile number

Navigate to the beneficiary status section

If eKYC is pending, enter your Aadhaar number and allow face scan

Once the scan is successful, eKYC will be updated
