PM-KISAN 19th Installment Released:– Check Eligibility and Benefits
The Indian government runs several welfare schemes, one of which is the PM Kisan Yojana. Launched in 2019, this scheme provides financial assistance to farmers by offering ₹6,000 annually in installments.
Under the PM Kisan Scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 per year in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each. This initiative aims to provide direct financial support to farmers to help them with their agricultural needs.

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana from Bhagalpur, Bihar. Alongside this, he also inaugurated and dedicated various development projects to the nation.
The event was attended by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan. Speaking at the rally, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed gratitude, stating, "It is a matter of great fortune for us that the PM is releasing this installment."
He further highlighted that over 76,000 farmers have benefited from this installment alone, calling it a crucial scheme that directly supports farmers. Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, also lauded the initiative, describing it as a historic move by PM Modi. He emphasized that, unlike previous Congress governments, which never credited funds directly into farmers' accounts, the Kisan Samman Nidhi has transformed the lives of small farmers by ensuring direct financial transfers.
Since its inception, the scheme has disbursed over ₹3.46 lakh crore to more than 11 crore farmer families across the country through 18 installments.
In Bihar, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA), comprising the BJP, JD(U), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustan Awam Morcha, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha, is gearing up for the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly elections, scheduled for October-November this year. The last assembly elections were held in 2020.
