PM Is Unable To Confront Numerous Challenges Facing Country, And Public Anger Is Echoing: Arvind Kejriwal

As the Modi government moves to tighten control over social media through proposed amendments to IT rules, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has launched a sharp attack, linking the move to a rapid decline in the Prime Minister's popularity and rising public anger finding expression online.

The AAP Supremo asserted that these attempts to curb these platforms are aimed at suppressing this growing discontent which, he told the Prime Minister, cannot be contained through restrictive regulations.

AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal took to 'X' and stated, "The popularity of the Prime Minister is declining very rapidly. The country is facing numerous challenges, but the Prime Minister is unable to deal with them. Public anger can be heard in every street and every neighbourhood. The youth of the country are expressing their frustration and anger through social media."

Criticising the government's approach, Arvind Kejriwal said, "Instead of finding solutions to problems, those who ask questions and criticise the government are being arrested. Now the government has even made a plan to control social media. Prime Minister Narendra Modi must understand that the rising anger among people cannot be suppressed through such rules."

Targeting the BJP over an incident in Gujarat, the AAP Chief said on 'X', "A massive structure of the upper portion of the Vadodara Central Bus Station collapsed, leading to the death of a person trapped under it. Bridges, roads, airports, and even bus stations built by the BJP government do not last."
