PM hopes festivals deepen spirit of harmony
New Delhi, Apr 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted the nation on the occasion of various festivals and prayed that these bring prosperity for the farmers and deepen the spirit of happiness and harmony in the society.
"Greetings to people across India on Vaisakhadi, Masadi, Bohag Bihu, Poila Boishakh, Vishu and Puthandu," he tweeted about the festivals which are celebrated in different parts of the country.

"I pray that these festivals bring prosperity for our farmers & deepen the spirit of happiness & harmony in our society," he added.
In another tweet, Modi said, "We in India cherish the great diversity we are blessed with. This diversity adds colour & enhances the development journey of our nation."
