PM greets nation on Dhanteras
New Delhi, Nov 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted the country on the occasion of Dhanteras, the first day of the five-day Diwali festival.
"Dhanteras greetings to all of you. I pray that this very special day brings prosperity, happiness & good health in everyone's lives," Modi tweeted.
Dhanteras is also regarded as an auspicious occasion to buy gold and silver to herald prosperity.
