PM's farewell address to the nation on May 17

New Delhi, May 8: Before demitting office, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is expected to make a farewell address on May 17 to the nation during which he would speak about the last 10 years of his rule.

Singh is likely to talk about the achievements of his government during the address, sources said. The Lok Sabha elections will end on May 12 and the counting of vote will take place on May 16. The PM is also expected to give a farewell dinner to his colleagues in the council of ministers.
